Last night we watched the new Netflix series Challenger: The Final Flight. Wow. I remember exactly where I was the morning the Challenger exploded. This 4-part series is incredibly moving and captivating. We sat down to watch one episode and didn't get up until we'd seen all four.⠀

Yesterday the air quality here in Northern California improved significantly. We're grateful for this turn of events. It's been a month since we were able to open windows or spend significant time outside. Watching news coverage of West Coast fires and East Coast hurricanes isn't for the faint of heart.⠀

Today on the blog ... Snowberry's Interior Paint Colors - Part Deux ... the bedrooms and bathrooms. ⠀

It's taken three posts to cover Snowberry's paint colors - inside and out. I'm exhausted ... and I'd love to know what you think of the color scheme.⠀

Over the weekend Jim power washed our brick walkway and patio. It took six hours. He really shouldn't have been outside in the smokey air ... but he loves a broom, a vacuum or a power washer and there was no stopping him.

I'm amazed by the difference it makes. It looked fine to me before. Like brick that was laid in the early 1950's. It still looks old, but now it's bright and glistening with cottage charm. Keeping it was a great decision.⠀

Did you have a great Labor Day weekend? It was hot on the West Coast. HOT. If you live in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Palm Springs ... I don't know how you do it. Extreme heat isn't for me. It's a cooler today, but we're socked in by smoke and fire danger is high. ⠀

Good news, our library rug was delivered this morning. It's gorgeous and I'm in love. I posted a quick snap in stories. Sadly, the cocktail table that arrived last week is a miss. ⠀
