Mystery Chocolate Toffee

Ingredients
  

  • 22 Soda Crackers with unsalted tops
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2/3 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 12 oz Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 3/4 cup Sliced Almonds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Line a 9x13 inch pan with foil, bring foil up sides
  • Cover bottom of foil lined pan with one layer of crackers
  • Melt butter, stir in brown sugar and bring to a boil. Let boil for one minute, stirring constantly
  • Pour syrup over crackers, spread evenly and bake for 7 minutes
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread melting chocolate evenly
  • Sprinkle almonds over chocolate and press into chocolate gently
  • Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, until firm
  • Lift from pan and break into chunks
