Today I’m sharing my annual roundup of holiday gift ideas. A rambling and random list of gift ideas pulled from the pages of the blog. Let’s shop!

Depending on how you look at it, my better late than never holiday gift ideas aren’t all that late.
Judging by the blogoverse, which started spewing out gift guides in early October, I suppose I’m lagging.
But how many really start shopping that early? Some perhaps.
But the majority of us wake up the day after Thanksgiving bombarded by Black Friday Sale alerts and start counting the days until Christmas.
I’m a very practical gift giver and I don’t have a large family who exchange gifts so my perspective is limited.
Still, you may find one or two things here that are just perfect for one of your nearest and dearest.
I hope so. Let’s go …
QUINCE $50 CASHMERE
Let’s kick this off with an all around favorite, the Quince $50 cashmere sweater. It’s been a popular item all over social media and I’m a fan.

CANDLES ETC
Hood Canal Candle Company debuted two new fragrances this holiday season, Mistletoe and Cranberry Prosecco. These are in addition to Gingerbread Cottage and Winter Wonderland. The fragrances are so wonderfully subtle and give your home a hint of nostalgic holiday aromas.

Last day to order Hood Canal holiday candles is December 13th!
Ralph Lauren’s holiday candle is a favorite and always a welcome hostess gift. I have three tucked away in my gift cupboard ready to hit the holiday party circuit.
Wendy Bellissimo inspires everyone to live beautifully and everyone loves her natural stone vessels. Used as a votive (don’t let wax drip onto the stone) they provide a beautiful glow for indoor and outdoor tables. I used them to decorate our holiday mantle last year.
COZIES
Bomba’s gripper slipper socks are a huge hit this year. I’m giving a pair to everyone in my family. Shhhh. The gripper slippers come in women’s, men’s, and kid and toddler sizes.

Ugg’s Tasman slippers are on everyone’s wish list … including Jim’s. He asked for a pair in black. Like mine. They come in kids sizes too and grand-niece Maesyn recently bought a pretty forest green pair.

‘House Socks’ … Ugg Fleece Lined socks and Barefoot Dreams ‘CozyChic Heather socks are soft and cozy. My feet are always cold so I assume everyone else’s are too even though my nieces assure me their feet are just fine.

This year I discovered Alo Yoga after my niece got a job in one of their stores. Now that I know I know, and spot their clothing everywhere. I’m loving their Accolade Sweatpants and have them in gravel and black. Who couldn’t use a pair … or two. Add the Crew Neck Pullover or Hoodie and make it a set.

Free People also makes a fun, cozy loungewear set. I have a set in navy and there are so many other color options.

VACATION ESSENTIALS
Know anyone planning a warm weather vacation this winter? I nearly knocked over chairs trying to cross a room to get to a woman wearing this lovely Barefoot Dreams ribbed knit caftan. It’s one size fits all and works on my 5″4″ frame. It’s the first thing going into my suitcase for my New Year travels. It’s light-weight, cozy and perfect to throw over a bathing suit or wear out to dinner. By the way, this caftan was an Oprah’s favorite things! It comes in three colos.
J.Crews linen cotton blend shirt-style beach coverup is another hit for your jetting setting friends and family members.
This Stackers jewelry case quickly made my travel essentials list this year. Love the easily packable size. This one from Cuyana is pricier but nice too.

COCKTAIL TIME
If you really want to get in good with a cocktail lover The Bartesian Cocktail Machine will ensure your most-favored-family member/friend status. I was recently gifted the machine and I’m surprised how much I love it. Jim too. We’re working our way through the classic cocktails and are about to dip into the holiday cocktail collection. Making cocktails with the machine is straightforward, fast (30 seconds to cheers!), a lot less mess … and every bit as delicious.
Our favorite cocktails so far are the Lemon Drop and Mango Margarita for me and the Old Fashioned and Aviation for Jim. We still have a long way to go tasting through all the options so stay tuned.
If you really want to up your cocktail game, large format ice cubes and spheres will do it. I recently bought Bartesian’s two ice molds, the cube and the sphere and as advertised the ice comes out perfectly clear! The ice sets up in less than 24-hours and it makes us feel like total pros. Bourbon and whiskey lovers will really appreciate them too.

BEAUTY
Eye shadow palettes make fun gifts and stocking stuffers. Urban Decay’s Naked2 is a classic. And I just got and love Tarte’s Tartelette in Bloom Clay.

Speaking of Alo Yoga, their Glow Systems skincare line is very popular but new to me. I’ve tried Head to Toe Glow Oil and Renew & Glow Body Polish. Niece Shelby gave me the Mindful Magnesium Bath Soak. As a bath lover I’m happy to report that it’s a wonderful addition to the bath and smells divine.
The six piece Glow System Discovery Set is a fun gift idea for a skincare / beauty product lover.

BAG LOVERS
Lululemon’s Everywhere Belt Bag is everything! Think it’s just for workouts, runs and walks, oh no no no. It makes the best travel bag worn crossbody style … and I don’t leave for the airport without it. It should actually be in the travel essentials category.

Woven bags are having a moment but they’re truly timeless. Naghedi’s handwoven St. Barth’s bag comes in a myriad of sizes and colors. I love the petite tote , mini tote (both come with cross body strap) and medium tote. All three include a zippered pouch.

If you love a good woven bag and want to save, opt for one of Amazon’s options. I have this one in bean green and it comes in at least 25 other colors. These bags are great for everyday and for travel.

HOME STUFF
These fleece throw blankets are so amazingly soft and cozy and another thing that all the (adult) kids on my gift list are receiving this year.
And I gifted myself this tartan throw.

Alice Lane’s small teak serving board has been a hit at my house. I’ve used it to serve baked brie, charcuterie and as a display piece in my kitchen. The thick, live edge is beautifully unique who wouldn’t want one?

BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS
Last but not least my favorite thing to give and receive is books. I buy a lot of books and it’s hard to narrow down because I love them all really. But here are few of my standout favorites coffee table books from this year.
