Do you love Valentine’s Day?
I love Valentine’s Day.
It’s a fun, frivolous day to celebrate love … and chocolate, and flowers, and dinner dates, and soul baring love notes, and …
Front porches!

Are you ready for my Valentine’s Day porch decor?
Don’t blink or you’ll miss it.
That’s it.
A cute, hearted pillow and an ivory throw.
Et Voila!
Let’s talk about that pillow.
Subtle, blush colored hearts on an ivory background with pompom corner tassels.
That’s amore.
But wait, there’s more …
This woven heart wreath.
Isn’t it sweet?
The wreath is super lightweight and Jim was able to hang it with a 3M Command Strip … no holes were drilled in the siding.
We’re squeamish about that. I’m not sure why.
Visiting the nursery this time of year is pretty grim.
It’s slim pickings.
I found this tall, boxwood-ish topiary. I’m not sure what it is … I accidentally tossed the tag.
Whatever it is, it works!
Under-plantings of white, trailing flowers fill in the basket.
And pink and white annuals add a Valentine vibe.
And, then there’s my trusty lantern-for-all-seasons with a flameless candle next to the front door.
Oops, with all the cute Valentine themed door mats out there … I neglected to buy one.
My wine and dog treats mat will have to do.
I did pick up a black and white plaid rug from the Studio McGee collection at Target.
I love the tassel edge detail.
It’s a little larger than my other plaid under-mat and I like the bigger size.
What does this have to do with Valentine’s Day?
Absolutely nothing.
But the heart pillow and wreath … plus pink and white flowers have me covered.
So, here you have it. Snowberry’s Valentine’s themed front porch.
A little something something to set a tone of Valentine festivity for anyone approaching …
which these days is pretty much limited to our UPS and Door Dash drivers.
What am I wearing you ask? Well … I’ll tell you.
Jeans from Target … yes, Target.
I’m trying to lose my Quarantine-10 and refuse to spend much on any item of clothing until its gone.
But, these jeans! Just enough stretch, not too high waisted and so comfy. And the price is right.
My JCrew mock turtleneck is no longer available but I found similar sweaters here and here.
I bought these faux snake skin booties last fall. I love them and they go with everything.
This is my winter uniform … when I’m forced to leave the house.

Later this week I’m sharing my Valentine / Galentine tea party table!
No, I won’t really be be hosting a tea party this year.
But practice makes perfect. By next Valentine’s Day I’ll be the tea party hostess with the mostest.
Stay tuned.

Need a next level Valentine’s gift idea?
Pastreez Macaroons
My sister sent us a box for Christmas.
Neither of us is a fan of macaroons. Or so we thought.
Holy moly … these macaroons are amazing. We ate the entire box in a matter of days.
Even Jim, who doesn’t have a sweet tooth, elbowed me out of the way as we made a mad dash for the macaroons after dinner.
Our favorites are the chocolate, salted caramel and red velvet.
And they’re making heart shaped macaroons for Valentine’s Day.
As always, I appreciate your visit and would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
I’ll be back later in the week with my Valentine’s Tea Party.
Until then, cheers from Snowberry!
