“Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree.”
~ Emily Bronte
It’s not fall … officially.
But I can read the room and it seems we’re over summer and ready for cooler temps, falling leaves and pumpkin spice everything.
Fall is my favorite season and I don’t think I’m alone.
While waiting for temperatures to cool, I’ve been combing through magazines, searching Pinterest, and scrolling photos of last year’s fall decor to get inspiration for this year.
As you know, I’m firmly in the less-is-more seasonal décor camp.
Now that I’m a big-time blogger (cough cough wink wink), my audience demands I get on board the fall décor train.
While I get my act together, let’s take a walk down memory lane.
It won’t take long, last year was my first fall season at Snowberry.
Let’s see what worked, what didn’t and what fall décor can be reused or repurposed this year.

FALL DÉCOR HOME TOUR
Last year was our first fall season at Snowberry and I went all out.
By all out I mean I decorated a little bit.
You can see the full fall decor home tour here.
FRONT PORCH FALL DÉCOR
Adding fall décor to the front porch is a lot of fun for me and where I devote most of my energy.
Last year’s wreath was a beauty.
I loved it so much and thought it worked really well with our front door color.
That said I’m giving it a rest this year (don’t worry it will make a triumphant return next year) and I ordered this eucalyptus wreath on Etsy.
Take a look at last year’s front porch fall décor here.
EASY FALL OUTDOOR TABLE SETTING
We’re incredibly lucky to enjoy beautiful warm evenings throughout October … ideal weather for outdoor entertaining.
I’m not what you’d call an effortless entertainer.
So, I make things easier on myself by creating one seasonal tablescape and repeating it throughout the season.
Check out my easy fall outdoor table here.
BACK PATIO FALL DÉCOR
Last fall, Snowberry’s back patio renovation was wrapping up.
I didn’t let the ongoing construction deter me from setting out some fall décor.
What’s a little dust, right?
We enjoyed many fall evenings sipping wine – and spritzers – around the new firepit.

TWO PERFECT FALL COCKTAILS
Speaking of spritzers, it may be too early for pumpkins but it’s just right for seasonal cocktails.
Say cheers to these two perfect fall spritzers.
The Aperol Spritz is a drink for all seasons, but particularly pretty and refreshing in the fall.
See my version of this perfect fall cocktail here.
The Bourbon Spritz is a heartier cocktail that will warm you up on on a cool fall night.

I don’t know about you, but this walk down memory lane has me excited to start rummaging through my seasonal décor bins and get serious about decorating for fall.
Good thing our recent garage makeover and organization project has made the process a lot easier.
My fall (and other seasonal) décor is neatly organized in clear bins and ready to pull off the new garage cabinet shelves.
And it looks like there’s a little space remaining to store my new fall finds!
